Graphical representations symmetrical

Our mind is conditioned to reject anything that can not be represented graphically as a symmetrical.

In another blog I manage, I used these images accompanied by the following text:

"Learn the truth about Santa Claus and the anatomical heart is not as symmetrical as draw, remain my greatest disappointments" (1).

Our brain thinks that there are three points on the body with utmost importance. From top to bottom, are the brain, heart and genitals.

Any notion of "center" suggests power, perfect, perfect.

Looking at the performance of a wheel, we see that the center does not move, is fixed. This finding reinforces the central importance of the heart.

By extension, all pictures from "center" are related to the heart and, since love in our lives is a force that drives us towards the center of existence ("our only mission" to conserve the species [2]) , is symbolized by this body.

As shown in the figure on the left, the heart muscle has a very irregular shape while not possess any symmetry. Perfect from the functional point of view, but not due to the human imagination, which is adapted to our appearance, especially for the location of the eyes, arms, legs, breasts, ears and a central axis, imaginary also marked by the nose, mouth, neck, navel and genitals (vagina or penis).

This appearance, one that I find satisfactory aesthetic values, leads us to believe that the good, the healthy and the best, is at the center or equidistant from the center, while it does not respect this geometry is poor, sick and worst.

In short, economic deformities (poor and rich), are ugly but functionally perfect.
