The love of money or God

Those who love money will have faith in the company that issues it and those who just love their God have faith only in themselves.

Humans are not unhappy capriciously: need, want and crave different things throughout life.

This condition may be a consequence of our herd instinct or, why not, the cause of that instinct. In other words:

- Or tend to gather in communities and therefore we take the different skills of our colleagues to enjoy different sensations;

- Or is our need to experience different sensations which leads us to meet with people who have different skills.

For any reason whatever, the fact is that lifelong practice barter.

Five centuries before Christ appeared the coins valuable bits of metal that could be changed by any object.

Just two or three centuries, we encourage you to replace those coins possessing an eigenvalue (the precious metal they were made) for the pieces of wallpaper to use as money today as banknotes.

This change was dramatic, revolutionary, unheard. Can you imagine the state of mind of someone who swapped, (bought), a house delivering a quantity of gold coins and ends canjeándola, (selling it), for a number of roles?

This revolution was to move from commodity money to fiat money, ie, money whose circulation and acceptance depend exclusively that inspires confidence among citizens.

That is fiat money: a role that inspires confidence, credibility, faith.

The passion, the love, the predilection for oneself is called egoism, selfishness, individualism.

We could conclude that: Those who love money have faith in the issuing company and who just love their God have faith only in themselves.

Note: Original in Spanish (without translation by Google): El amor al dinero o a Dios.
