Teaching with the bad example



Overcoming resistance to the study of children and adolescents, education by example to violence, abuse, disrespect.

Although the desire to be great confuse us, what seems certain is that our only mission is to keep ourselves individually and as a species (1).

The confusion is really important. What we do to earn the necessities of life (buy food, clothing, shelter) is complicated.

Assuming that we are the most intelligent species, we need to believe that human intelligence is the best, so we prefer not stop to think that less intelligent beings solve their life problems (conservation and reproduction) of infinitely simpler.

Is it smart to think that solutions are better than complicated simple solutions? It seems strange but: work more hours, estresarnos, divide up bad assets are symptoms of superior intelligence. Rare item!

Education aims to build in our minds that complexity. So extravagance progresses with age and children are simpler than adults.

Our superior intelligence leads us to study issues for many years radically away from our interest.

Children and young students have different appetites to that offered by the education system.

The situation is abusive, arbitrary, violative. For a naive mind such as children and adolescents, is unjust, immoral, outrageous.

We've all been through that stage and today we are the result of those experiences.

- If in childhood we are victims of violence, it seems likely that violence is a legal method, useful, necessary, and try to apply it as soon as possible;

- If we feel abused children because they made us what we wanted, contemptuously ignoring our resistance, as adults will think that rape is not that bad, selfishly exploit the other's weakness.

These experiences were also educational, exemplary, imitable.
