The mythological explanations

Because knowing the causes of all we relieve the uncertainty, is that humanity has created stories that attempt to explain everything.

Perhaps many ancient peoples could not escape invent stories to explain why things are as they are.

Many people want to know what we are born, where do we go after we die and wonder what it is all about.

An immediate response but unsatisfactory says the problem is not so hard to find a convincing answer but the question is unfair, inadequate, incorrect.

Similar to how we accept that a bottle of Coca-Cola belittle as it moves away from our eyes without necessarily think that two meters contains a liter and a hundred meters contains ten times less liquid, we could also understand that there questions that seem logical but are not.

For example, both the shrinkage could admit the "aim" of the bottle and that not everything has a beginning and end.

But these doubts are destabilizing because we filled with anguish, uncertainty, insecurity. Our thinking is stabilized when you find an answer to any question, forming a great story where everything is explained.

Perhaps the first major story we know in the West is the Greek mythology.

It is composed of many simple stories, fantastic, wishful, naive, magical, enchanting, fascinating.
Do you know why we have to go to school and to high school? Because of Epimetheus (1).

In this mythological character was tasked to distribute essential for the survival characteristics (strength, speed, cunning, etc.) Between the newly created animals.

The fool partitioned everything available and forgot nothing less than the human being. When his brother Prometheus, notoriously smarter and better administrator, realized assigned us the ability to study and learn.
