Note that the way we think about
the reliability of our thoughts is generated by the same brain we evaluated.
Why
is it so easy to soothe a sore ingesting a sedative body counter and is almost
impossible to break free of anxiety, anxiety, uncertainty?
From
my point of view, the human mind can not see what they do not believe. If I did
not believe in the existence of tangible objects, as for example a vase full of
flowers, we would not see the vases.
In
other words, we see the vases because we believe there are tangible objects
made by man or by nature.
When
we believe that humans are the sum of one body and one spirit we are
conditioning our attitudes assuming that Cartesian dualism is true (1). As
scientists are human beings as subject to the beliefs as any of us, the
pharmaceutical industry has found solutions for somatic difficulties and
solutions found for the intangible, spiritual.
I
would not rule that suffering technological backwardness psychiatry, psychology
and psychoanalysis to obey, consciously or unconsciously, we believe in the
existence of a mysterious spirit, magical, heavenly, mystical, inaccessible,
belonging to a higher reality, another world.
We
are in the minority who assume that the spirit (soul) is a cerebral production,
a subjective, an invention that is validated by consensus, for all, in one way
or another, we have a brain that secretes those thoughts, with such intensity
that homologamos, we consider real and worthy of being integrated into our
decisions.
Note
that this approval, such confirmation is produced by the same organ we
evaluated. Our brain becomes judge and jury.
The
brain says he thinks good and we should believe him.
