From the point of view of determinism is possible to assume that human beings have two different characteristics and to some extent conflicting.
A large group of human beings is bound to solve the myriad problems we face in life: to make money to pay for basic consumption (food, shelter, clothing), repair what is damaged by use or by accident, solve conflicts among members of society, manage collective resources that solve public expenditure, administer justice in the case of prohibited conduct and harmful.

A small group of human beings is bound to create new scenarios, new realities, alternative scenarios, invent what has not been done yet.
It seems clear that it is relatively easier to solve problems in familiar situations are repeated to generate new business, new products, new strategies.
In both groups it is possible to say that the larger group runs behind events (works when something has already happened), while the smaller group moves ahead of reality, of the situation of the moment.
