Personal desires are transferable

Among humans something unusual happens: some claim that their personal desires mobilize others who lack those desires.

Imagine a father and son thirty years.

Both have exactly the same car... rather, the same body: each has a full body that beautiful brand model Hillman Minx. Both are the latest model (1970), with four doors, elegant, medium size, perfect for a family of four, that both want to use it in the city and travel long distances to other cities or places of rest.

However, only one of those two bodies is also the engine. The body of the child has no motor. Looks just like the other, but if we saw inside, not subsidized that has no engine.

This father and this child can make all the plans you want to travel with their cars, but in fact, only the older guy can run. The child will have to stay at home, looking at the beauty of your car, which is as beautiful as her father, but still for lack of something essential: the engine.

This mini - story, a little crazy but possible, can only serve to illustrate what happens when parents order their children to study, to go to school, have a good school performance, which are able to generate good grades in all subjects.

Though outwardly parents and children are very similar, they differ as much as the vehicles mentioned above: one has desire (the father whose car has engine) and the other would have desire but do not have (the son whose car does not have motor).

This real- life situation is truly outrageous, much as the mini - story, but no one seems to take notice.

Note: Original in Spanish (without translation by Google): Los deseos personales son instransferibles.
