Solidarity and professionalism

The market economy provides care services that discourage professionalized caring instinct and free, because this will detract from profit participation.

In the first stage of extrauterine life we think we are all one unit, we are all fused, there is no difference between environment and my body. It is the stage where we do not have sense of self, of individual separated from the rest. The underdevelopment of the nervous system does not allow us discriminate against us.

With the maturation of the nervous system begin to realize (about 18 months) (1), we are not merged with the rest of the universe but are separated: mom, dad, brother, and I do not form pet a unit but five independent units.

To those who say that "the past was better", this evolution of the nervous system brought negative consequences because it would be better not to go so individualistic. These people want solidarity (form a single 'solid') and reject discrimination (distinction, separation, segregation, alienation, isolation, exclusion, alienation).

It would be strange to you, to read synonyms of the word "discrimination", also feels that connote negative ideas, selfish, antisocial.

However, this evolution of the nervous system is not enough that the "discrimination" is extreme while still being able to identify with peers and until we see them (projected) our responsibilities, guilt, intentions.

It also happens that it is difficult to remain aloof from the misfortune of others when we feel that we are the only ones we know or we would be the only ones able to remedy it.

But capitalism seems committed to improving our nervous system in the sense that we are increasingly less interested in the problems of others.

The market economy provides care services that discourage professionalized caring instinct and free, because this will detract from profit participation.
