There are people with power but with power roles

Power is not the people but the role they occupy temporarily and also that power is not omnipotent.

Two very enlightened patrons in a bar discussing the management of several presidents of the republic. The discussion goes around sometimes because one gets upset because the other does not recognize the merits of Jane Doe, but defends up with some foolishness Mengano social policies.

They are generally quite agree because presidents who had known then clear efforts were reflected in the polls, either because they were re-elected or disappeared because of political activity, with poor poll ratings and even embarrassing for those who once trusted them.

This discussion can only take place between people who assume that these rulers actually ruled by intentional actions, but the discussion would hardly be right to assume that govern those roles (role of president) and no cyclical occupants of those roles.

Citizens dream of having a lot of power, until someone has figured everything (God, the devil, the president of the most powerful of the earth). We imagine that to follow another dream that came to have it if we could have it also.

We also believe that with this immense power we can avoid a lot of trouble: never suffer hunger or thirst, never have to obey others, have perfect health because we will require our medicine to prevent illness or death.

In fact the reality may not be as well:

- Is likely to lie in the roles, not people (since it lost when these are replaced by others);

- That is the 'Institution Presidency "the boss but not Jane Doe or Richard Roe, and

- That the real power is far from omnipotent.

Note: Original in Spanish (without translation by Google):  No hay personas con poder sino roles con poder.
