Uncertainty and Competition

The obsession to see minute-to-minute updated information inevitably remaining possibilities to actually work and competitiveness remains less obsessed over other workers.

I suppose that humans were always outstanding how is the context in which we have to develop our activities: working, moving, walking.

Also I guess the weather was always a cause for concern, especially in habitats where it can be more aggressive: snowfall, cyclones, floods, hailstorms.

In more civilized areas, our grandparents worried they will know whether the territory would be invaded by enemies, if you have to get ready to defend the borders, if any epidemic could destroy them, what the most important were the king's edicts.

In short, humans are animals that consume information. Without it usually anxious and uneasy. The quality and timeliness of news affairs have always been valuable.

In the past decade has established a phenomenon that can affect our competitiveness. If many workers can not stop receiving information, those that can devote more time and energy to produce will increased your income and job opportunities.

In other words: the obsession consult minute - by-minute the device or media (mobile, tablet, Twitter, Facebook) inevitably subtracted chances of actually working. Appealing to the absurd: if a caveman would have spent all day looking at the clouds, he would not have been able to gather and hunt for food or supplies needed for him and his family.
